Hello! I took a crack at writing a short poem in Spanish when I was out in Madrid last week. Hope you like it.
Ayer en la plaza me di cuenta
Ayer en la plaza vi el ciel
Vi la gente, vi la noche y miré la oscuridad
Que nos guarda en su piel
Rodeado por la felicidad y encantado por los movimientos madrileños
En ese momento ya no fue lo mismo
Y ya no estuve yo.
